THE CREATOR
For over a decade, I’ve built businesses, worked in the music industry, launched a clothing brand, and spent years in graphic design, branding, and marketing. Along the way, I performed in front of thousands of people, saw my clothing brand worn by celebrities, and experienced the satisfaction of turning ideas into reality.
Creating something from nothing has always been my greatest passion. There’s something deeply rewarding about taking an idea that exists only in your imagination and transforming it into something people can see, experience, and connect with.
Art is simply the newest chapter in a lifetime of creating.
THE CHALLENGE
Art began as a personal challenge. I wanted to see if I could create a collection from scratch that people would genuinely connect with. Although I had painted before, this vision and the technique behind it, was unlike anything I had attempted.
The first canvas went straight into the garbage. The second wasn’t much better. By the third and fourth, I was making progress, but they still weren’t what I had imagined. Each attempt brought me a little closer, giving me just enough confidence to keep going.
By the seventh canvas, everything clicked. I had discovered a technique and style that felt uniquely mine, and the first Staffiere collection began to take shape.
Rather than relying on traditional brushes, I use a variety of tools to create movement, texture, and depth. Combined with my signature eye treatment, each painting transforms familiar icons into one-of-one originals that balance nostalgia with contemporary abstract expression.
THE SIGNATURE
The most recognizable feature in my work—the scraped eyes and paint drips—was never planned.
During one of my early paintings, I couldn’t get the eyes right. After several failed attempts, I scraped through the paint to hide the mistake, then added drips over the eyes to cover what I thought had gone wrong.
At the time, I saw it as a failure.
Later, I showed the painting to a friend without telling him it was mine. As a joke, I told him I had paid $1,000 for it.
To my surprise, he loved it.
The very first thing he mentioned was the eyes.
That moment completely changed the way I saw my work.
“What I Thought Was a Flaw Became My Signature.”
Since then, the scraped eyes and paint drips have appeared throughout my work as a reminder that sometimes the things we try to hide become the very things that make us unique.
THE COLLECTION
Every painting reflects the belief that the most meaningful creations come from taking risks, embracing imperfections, and trusting the creative process. Every finished piece is proof that some of the best ideas are the ones we never planned.
Every Staffiere painting is created by hand as a one-of-one original. The layered textures, movement, and abstract nature of my process ensure that every painting develops its own identity, making each original truly one of a kind.
